Honeybrains juices are made in-house from scratch and contain unique combinations of healthy ingredients that are delicious and good for you.  Each juice also contains one and more active, natural ingredients that have scientifically-proven benefits for brain and body health and function.  We also balance each juice with just the right amount of fiber (which is lost in the juicing process) so that the ratio of sugar to fiber is similar to that found in a whole apple. Natural sugars, when balanced with fiber in ratios found in fruits and vegetables, are digested by our bodies in ways that are good for us.

With these juices, you can be sure that you are getting essential nutrients that nourish and protect your body and brain.

Ingredients: Pineapple, Gala Apple, Pear, Kale, Lemon, Walnuts, White Miso, Fibergum, Sage

When learning a new memory, our brain uses a hormone called Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF). Sage seems to support BDNF levels which interact with the nervous system to support memory processes. Miso, a probiotic food, and walnuts, a nut high in Omega-3s, completes this brain-boosting juice!

Ingredients: Pineapple, Pear, Green Apple, Beet, Carrot, Fibergum, Raw Honey, Blueberry Juice, Grape Juice, Serrano Pepper, Green Tea, Black Tea, Coriander

For us, the term flow refers to circulation. Circulation is the process of transporting nutrients and energy throughout our body and brain. A healthy circulation enables us to perform well in school, at work, and in athletics. We mixed grapes, blueberries, saffron, and teas because they contain color pigments that minimize inflammation. Caffeine in teas can also increase alertness and support athletic performance. Serrano peppers give this juice just the right amount of kick.

Ingredients: Gala Apple, Pineapple, Kale, Lemon, Green Apple, Ginger, Fibergum, Celery, Parsley, Lemonbalm

To feel calm, our brains rely on a neurotransmitter called GABA. Lemon balm is a tasty herb that seems to increase our GABA levels! So we juiced it up with harmonious herbs and fruits to help you feel calm. When we feel calm, our cognitive and emotional intelligence can be at its best.

Ingredients: Cucumber, Broccoli, Celery, Spinach, Lemon Juice, Ginger Juice, Blue-Green Algae, Sage, Ginseng, Saffron, L-Theanine

To feel happy, our bodies convert the folate from foods to neurotransmitters like serotonin. Greens are particularly high in folate. Spices like saffron, and herbs like sage, also influence neurotransmitter levels. We also added L-theanine from green tea for you to feel good and live life with bliss!

Ingredients: Green Apple, Cucumber, Raw Honey, Watercress, Lemon, Oats, Barley, Fibergum, Ginger, Spirulina, Green Tea

Balance means having the right levels of nutrients and healthful fats in our bodies. Balance keeps our circulatory system, which feeds the innermost parts of our hearts and brains, pristine. The color pigments and fiber in teas, algae, and whole grains promote balance by optimizing our digestive system and metabolism. We added spirulina, blue-green algae, for an extra green boost!

Ingredients: Pear, Green Apple, Orange, Carrot, Lemon, Fibergum, Ginger, Rosemary Extract

To make memories, our brain cells rely on a neurotransmitter called acetylcholine that helps neurons connect. Herbs like rosemary may improve human memory by making more acetylcholine. When digested, rosemary also stimulates synapses for better communication and retention of new information. Citrus, veggies, and fiber have been added to allow for better nutrient absorption.

Ingredients: Orange, Grapefruit, Blood Orange, Lemon, Lime, Fibergum, Green Tea, Dark Cherry Juice, Panax Ginseng

good working memory enables us to multitask productively. Regularly eating foods high in saponins such as the herb ginseng may improve our working memory by increasing the density of dendrites in our brains (that's the part of nerves that connect to other nerves)! So we loaded this juice with ginseng, balanced it with citrus, and added some green tea for an extra focus boost.

Ingredients: Green Apple, Barley, Fibergum, Walnuts, Kimchi, Green Tea, Cinnamon

Metabolism refers to our ability to convert nutrients into energy. Metabolism is critical for maintaining brain connections because our brains are constantly using energy. Consuming healthful fats, spices, and fermented foods is a proven, natural way to optimize metabolism. This juice features walnuts because they are high in Omega 3, cinnamon because it boosts metabolism, and kimchi, a fermented food, because of its probiotic benefits!

Ingredients: Carrot, Goji Berry, Celery, Spinach, Broccoli, Ginger, Garlic, Oats, Guarana, L-Theanine, Rhodiola Rosea, Cardamom

For our best focus, we need adequate circulation (blood flow) to the front of our brains. The caffeine in the herb guarana can help us focus by increasing circulation to the frontal lobe. We added L-theanine, an amino acid from green tea because it supports focus. Superfoods like goji berry and broccoli provide the plant pigments our brain cells crave.

Ingredients: Blueberry, Oat Milk, Date Paste, Vanilla Extract, Pomegranate Extract, Tart Cherry Juice, Rhodiola Rosea

Endurance is the ability of our muscles and brains to work well for a continued period of time. Red foods like pomegranate and cherry help us with endurance because they are high in nitric oxide, which dilates our arteries for better blood flow. To supercharge this juice, we added Rhodiola rosea, which is an herb that the Vikings used for energy on long sea trips.

Protein Power

Ingredients: Apple, Beet, Strawberry, Tart Cherry Juice, Lemon, Whey Protein, Black Currant, Vegan DHA, Fibergum

Modern athletes are turning to foods such as tart cherries and black currant to improve performance. They are high in nitrates which dilate blood vessels, allowing more energy to flow to muscles. We included whey protein and healthful fats (DHA) because many of us want natural pre and post workout nutrition that does not fill up the belly.

Ingredients: Ginger, Raw Honey, Turmeric

Did you know ginger and turmeric aren't roots? They are rhizomes, that are the knobby, subterranean stems of some plants. This is where the nutrients are stored for later use and we juiced them into this shot! Plus, ginger and turmeric are medicinal foods proven to aid digestion. Turmeric improves digestion by helping with absorption of other nutrients. Ginger aids digestion by stimulating the muscles in our intestines.

Ingredients: Carrot, Ginger, Orange Juice, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Cardamom, Cinnamon, Chili Powder, Omega 3 Boost

The color orange comes from carotenoid, an organic pigment found in foods like carrots and oranges. These carotenoid pigments protect plants from UV radiation, and have a similar function in the human body! They protect our bodies and brains by keeping our cell membranes fresh. Spices like turmeric also have color. We added omegas because good fats help us absorb carotenoids! "Orange" you glad we made this shot :)

Ingredients: Apple, Beet, Strawberry, Tart Cherry Juice, Lemon, Whey Protein, Black Currant, Omega 3 Boost, Fibergum

Modern athletes are turning to foods like tart cherries and black currant to improve performance. They're high in nitrates and dilate blood vessels, allowing more energy to flow to muscles. Scientists have proven that these athletes are onto something special, and with this shot, you can be too! We included whey protein, a complete protein, for energy or muscle building before or after a workout.

Ingredients: Green Apple, Spinach, Omega 3 Boost, Kale, Ginger, Lemon

Lutein is an organic pigment that is present in green vegetables like kale and spinach. These plant pigments are essential for our brain health, but most of us do not get enough greens in a day. That's why we created the Mean Green shot, to make eating greens easier! Bonus points, we added omegas here because they help our bodies absorb organic pigments like lutein, better!

Ingredients: Red Grapefruit, Ginger, Lemon, Raw Honey, Vitamin C, Zinc

Feeling under the weather? The Vitamin C and zinc in this shot could prevent or reduce cold-like symptoms. This zesty ginger shot is also a delicious way to get a vitamin boost! Consume once daily for a maximum potential benefit, and consume for three days within the first 24 hours of cold-like symptoms to potentially heal quicker.

Ingredients: Green Apple, Orange Juice, Strawberry, Banana, Lemon, Ginger, Pea Protein, Brown Rice Protein, Black Currant, Omega 3 Boost

This shot combines whole grains (brown rice) and legumes (peas) to give us all 20 amino acids that make up a complete protein. Plus it's vegan! Black currant is a functional food proven in labs to help blood flow to the muscles, which further supports healthy muscle growth. For anyone looking for the complete workout boost, take 30 minutes prior to exercising!
